ABOUT
Designed to collect soil samples beneath the surface of the ground. This device provides a sample core barrel with a removable cutting shoe and a polycarbonate round tube to keep soil samples safe during collection. The Sureshot Discrete Soil Sampler is now fully prepared for operation with the core barrel securely locked onto the sampler drive rod at the specified torque. It can be driven to any desired depth, ensuring accurate and reliable soil sampling for your project. This efficient setup allows for seamless penetration into various soil types, facilitating effective data collection. To begin, insert the Sureshot into the ground and securely screw on the recommended 1.5” outside diameter percussion drill rod. Different lengths may be needed to reach your desired depth, so ensure all connections remain tight during the soil sampling process. Rotate the entire drill rod string the right for 50 rotations, and your Sureshot Discrete Soil Sampler will be ready to core up to 12” of soil. Drive the sampler one additional foot to achieve the desired depth, then simply connect to the drill string to retrieve it, remove the cutting shoe, and slide out the Clear Polycarbonate Round Tube to reveal the collected soil sample.
